This summer I came up with the idea to make a list of every playground in Medicine Hat because I thought it'd be fun to discover new parks with my daughter. I remember when my daughter was a baby I was often frustrated because a lot of parks either didn't have any baby swings or didn't have much. Being new in the area, it was hard to find detailed information about the playgrounds.

The city does have a great list of parks but it didn't cover all them. There were a lot of hidden parks that i had found during my many walks with my daughter and it left me wondering how many more there were in each neighbourhood.

My hopes with this project is to see more children play at the playgrounds. Medicine Hat is such a great city, we are so lucky to have such great parks for our kids and I just wanted to share my findings.
